Lecture by Lord Roger Liddle
This lecture will discuss the current state of the Brexit negotiations; whether it is clear what Britain really wants from Brexit; a realistic set of Brexit options for Britain and Britain's European future.
About Roger Liddle
Roger Liddle is a UK Labour member of the House of Lords and co-chair of leading international thinktank Policy Network. He was a special adviser on European affairs to the British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, for seven years from 1997. From 2004-2007 he served in the European Commission, first in the cabinet of the EU trade commissioner and then as economic adviser to the European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso.
The event is part of the Big Picture Series of the University of Greenwich and it is co-organised by the Greenwich Political Economy Research Centre (GPERC) and the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS).
